The Fair Trade business show held in the Ballroom of The Nottingham City Council House on Friday 29th February was a huge success!
There were over 750 visitors to the very successful show.
There were interviews on BBC Radio Nottingham and Trent FM as well as a filmed interview by ITV Local televison with Gideon Gilbert the banana farmer from St Vincent in The Windward Islands.
Major retailers displayed an ever increasing range of fairly traded products and a superb fashion show of fair trade clothes and accessories was held.
The Divine chocolate hamper was won by Mrs I in Chilwell and the Co-operative hamper was won by Mrs H in Wollaton.
Several contacts will be followed up to assist individuals requiring particular Fairtrade goods.
